The Old Rectory

The Old Rectory, Exeter

Offering a graceful lifestyle in beautiful surroundings, The Old Rectory near the Mount Pleasant region of Exeter is a Grade II listed building and retains many of its original features. The home provides a high standard of nursing, dementia and residential care.

Considerably extended in recent years, it offers attractive accommodation with the majority of rooms on the ground floor overlooking the gardens. The Old Rectory has three lounges, two dining rooms and two conservatories. In 2016 a country style pub (with a small adjacent beer garden) was added, which offers beers wines and spirits and another place to socialise. The home also has a café, with roasted coffee and light snacks available for people to enjoy.

In 2017, The Old Rectory achieved an ‘Outstanding Overall’ rating from the regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) a proud achievement. As at December 2017 there were approximately only 70 Nursing Homes with this highest rating throughout the country under the rating system introduced in 2014.
